My Holistic Mind–Body Approach to Therapy

Let me tell you what kind of therapist I am, so you can make an informed choice.

In my integrative approach, I draw on multiple schools of psychological thought to provide support that fits your individual needs.

I’m not here to sit in silence or follow a script, I’m here to work with you.

I am your guide: offering structure, tools and steady support as you make sense of your experiences.
I am your mirror: helping you see your patterns, strengths and progress especially when you can’t see them yourself.
I am your catalyst: through trust, honesty and consistency, I help you create real, lasting change.

Here’s how I integrate different approaches:

PSYCHODYNAMIC PRINCIPLES

We explore how your past experiences and relationships shape your present emotions, patterns and defences.
Understanding these unconscious dynamics helps you move forward with more clarity and self-awareness.

HUMANISTIC APPROACH

At the core of this work is the belief that your answers already exist within you.
You will be met with respect, autonomy and a safe, non-judgmental space to reconnect with your needs, values and inner voice.

NLP (NEURO-LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING)

We use practical tools to shift limiting thoughts and behaviours.
NLP builds awareness around your inner dialogue and the language you use and how changing it can reshape how you feel and act.

COACHING ELEMENTS

When you need clarity, structure or direction, I bring in coaching tools to help you define goals, break them into achievable steps and stay accountable to what you want to change.

HOLISTIC MIND–BODY PERSPECTIVE

You are a whole system: mind, body, emotions and environment.
Talking alone isn’t always enough.

When useful, we may include:
• breathwork and relaxation techniques
• essential oils for grounding
• lifestyle and wellbeing awareness
• gentle mind–body exercises
• creative or spiritual exploration

These help connect you to your body’s signals and create deeper emotional regulation.

PRACTICAL RESOURCES & LEARNING

Therapy should be both healing and empowering. Between sessions, I may suggest:
• articles or books
• podcasts or films
• creative exercises
• grounding practices

These tools deepen the work and help you integrate change into real life.
